Zamfara State police command under the able leadership of CP Muhammad Shehu has successfully rescue two abducted  students one staff of Federal University Gusau.

In a press release signed by the sporksperson of the command Asp Yazeed Abubakar issued to the truth newspaper in Gusau.

“On 14 th October, 2023 at about 2000hrs a group of  armed men suspected to be bandit armed with dangerous weapons invaded the students' rent house located at the outskirts area of Sabon garin Damba on gun point abducted two students and one Staff of federal University Gusau”

“On receipt of the information the Striking force of the Command mobilized on search and rescue operations which yielded a very good and positive result as all the victims were rescued unhurt, operations is still on with the view of arresting the fleeting abductors”

“Zamfara police command  reassured all people of the state that the Command will do its best in protecting lives and properties and also provide conducive atmosphere for learning process in the State”  Muhammad shehu noted.

He also urged the good people of the state to furnish the command with credible and timely information on the activities of criminals so as to salvage our dear state from all forms of criminality.

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team. Dr. Aminu Abdullahi of Federal Medical Center (FMC) Gusau made the revelation in a presentation tittle "Internal Brain drain Prons  and Cons in Security Challenge state,  The presentation was made at the Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference organised by the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) FMC Gusau Chapter, held in Gusau.
