NSCDC Reiterates support to the Hisbah Commission in Zamfara---Commandant

Zamfara State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Sani Mustapha Sokoto has reiterated the support of the Corps for the activities and operations of the  Hisbah Commission in the State.

This was contained in a press statement signed by the spokesperson of  the command Ikor Oche  SC issued to the truth newspaper in Gusau.

According to the Ikor Oche  SC, Commandant Sani Mustapha stated this when he hosted the delegation of the hisba Commission which paid a courtesy visit on the Corps at the State Headquarters  in Gusau.


“ The Corps is ready to work closely with the Commission in the quest to enforce the shariah principles in the society and the state at large” Commandant assured 

“ Zamfara State is known for the practics of the shariah law and that Hisbah Commission which is the enforcement arm of the state Government in ensuring that the tenets of the Shariah law is maintained will be given a boost in all operational activities within and outside Gusau metro”

“The strict adherence to the Shariah injunctions could go a long way to eliminate social vices  and insecurity in the state”

Speaking Earlier, the Chairman Hisbah Commission, Shiekh Umar Hassan Gusau, extolled the doggedness of the Corps in the fight against crime and insecurity in the state.

Shiekh Umar Hassan Gusau therefore solicited for support of the Corps in the State Command, especially in the area of enforcement and arrest in order to enhance the smooth operations of the Commission.

Shiekh Umar  expresses satisfaction with the level of collaboration and support enjoyed in the past with the Corps, solicited for more cooperation with the Corps to enable the Commission deliver on its mandate.
