Zamfara : College of health science and technology to establishing a drug-free society

Zamfara State College of health science and technology to establishing a drug-free society within the institution.

This was contained in a Statement signed by the information officer of the institution, Malan Jamilu Sani tsafe.

According statement, Provost of the college Alhaji Hamisu Yusuf yelwa, stated that, when he hosted Management team of the National Drugs and Laws Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Tsafe area command, who paid him a congratulatory visit in his office on his recent appointment.


"We are not only teaching the students knowledge, but we are also teaching them character and discipline” provost noted.

"We want to make them useful to themselves, their families, and the entire society even after they graduate”

He also conveyed his gratitude to the NDLEA management team for the visit and assured them of his full support in carrying out their activities.

Earlier in his speech, The area commander of the National Drugs and Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Tsafe area command, Malami Galadima, said that they are at the college to congratulate the provost on his  appointed  as provost and to reiterate their commitment to enlightening and educating the college's students about the effects of drug abuse.

Commander Malami Galadima also urged the college's administration to resurrect the NDLEA Club, which is the only simpler way out.
