Zamfara Nawoj Congratulates newly elected president of the association, Others -- Chairperson

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists Zamfara state chapter under able  leadership of comrade Rukaiyya Sallau, Congratulates the newly elected NAWOJ  president Aisha Ibrahim bura and other elected officers.

This was contained in a statement dully signed by the Chairperson, and Secretary of the association, Hajiya Rukaiyya salau, and Fatima Ibrahim Dosara issued to the truth newspaper in Gusau the state capital.

According to the statement the 11th National triennial delegates conference held at Maryam Babangida center for women Development abuja.

Statement described the elected officers  as a team that will bring development to the Association.

“The overwhelming victory was an indication of the wide acceptance by the members of the Association across the country” 

“The Association in Zamfara urges all Nawojians across the country to buried their differences rally round the new national leadership of the association for the progress and development of NAWOJ”

FMC Gusau re-affirms Commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital

By Ibrahim Ahmad The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Gusau on Tuesday , reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital for enhanced service delivery. The Medical Director of the FMC Gusau, Dr Bello Mohammed made the re-affirmation during the inauguration of a medical  “Common room” constructed by the centre’ s branch of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors (NARD). In a Press Statement signed by the centre’ s Public Relation Officer, Dr. Naziru Tukur and made available to newsmen, said modalities have been put in place to ensure the actualisation of the upgrade. “The Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) currently offers five accredited medical programmes, with students already in 200 level” “The centre’s management has intensified efforts in providing critical infrastructure for teaching and learning at the facility,” the statement read.
