Zamfara State Zakkat and endowment Board Distributes assistance to 964 orphans and Less privilege

Zamfara state Zakkat and Endowment board  has distributed various assistance to 964 orphans and less privileged cross the 17 emirates councils in the state.

This was disclosed by the Executive Secretary of Board, Malan Habibu Muhammad Balarabe Zawiyya during the weekly distribution of assistance to the beneficiaries held at the board's headquarters in Gusau.

According to him, the gesture was  part of effort of the Governor Dr Dauda Lawal to reduce the hardship among the vulnerable orphans and less privileged in Zamfara state.

The Executive Secretary who was represented by the deputy director of zakat distribution, Malan Sani Abubakar Maradun noted that the beneficiaries included, problem of Health, medicine, Education, Marriages assist, Businesses, Rent, problem of credit among others.

Malam Habibu Muhammad Balarabe Zawiyya further stated that the board had been organising the weekly assistance distribution programme purposely in order improve the walfare of orphans and less privileged is the part of good intentions of Dr Dauda Lawal to give special caring to orphans and less privileged in the state. He also advised the beneficiaries of gesture to use it judiciously not to misappropriate it.

The executive secretary mallam Habibu Muhammad Balarabe zawiyya also revealed that last two weeks ago the board has distribute similar assistance to 610 beneficiaries across the 14 local government areas in the state. He urged beneficiaries use  this period and pray for success Governor of zamfara state Dr Dauda Lawal Administration in the state.

Malam Habibu Muhammad Balarabe zawiyya also called on the people who write they request for assist but up now not hear their names included in to programme to exercise patience the board are working seriously in order to ensure that they benefit with gesture, he added that presently the board has over  3000 request of assistance from different individuals across the state but in Sha Allah they will be among the beneficiaries very soon.

Earlier speaking, the Chairman of the board, Sheikh Ahmad Umar Ibn Kanoma also called on people especially wealthy individuals and philanthropists to cooperate with Zakat board by giving out their Zakat and Endowment  in order to distribute it to the needy in the state.

Kanoma also described that giving out Zakat and Endowment to orphans and less privileged is obligatory upon wealthy individuals and philanthropists because Allah swt mentioned in holy Qur'anic and promise to redouble reward for those who assist orphans and also building beautiful house in Aljanna fiddaussi.

 In his vote of thanks during the programme, the Director Distribution malan Dalhatu Umar Jauri thanked the state government under the able leadership of  Dr Dauda Lawal for propageting Islamic religious knowledge through zakkat and Endowment board and also called beneficiaries to continue pray for zamfara state insecurities for peace to restore in the state.
