Zamfara State tea and bread sellers association cry out over the indefinite suspension of producing bread by the Association of Bread sellers across 14 local government areas in the state.

State Chairman tea and bread sellers association, Alhaji Sani Magawata made this known during a meeting held at Danturai primary School in Gusau, the state capital.

He said the essence of the meeting was to organize themselves, also discuss about issues concerning their business.

“We spend almost 2 days in our homes for not  having bread to prepare our business, because apart of bread and tea no one can do without any”  magawata noted 

He discribed the relationship between bread sellers and tea sellers associations as been cordial.

Magagawata appealed to the state government to intervene on the situation, “we have almost 3000 members and our normal business has been crippled ”

He called on members to renew their identification cards for them to save their image.

In their seprate speeches, state secretary and financial Secretary of the association,  Alhaji Abdullahi Dodo, and Alhaji Nasiru, commended the members of the association for honoring the invitation .

They called on members to remain calm and law abiding citizens as the Association is doing everything possible to ameliorate the situation.

It could be recalled that three days ago, the Zamfara state bread sellers association had announced the indefinite suspension of producing bread across the state do to what they described high cost of bread making ingredients.
