Zamfara : Primary School Old boys Distributes 100 Uniforms to orphans, and less privileged pupils

The Township Model Primary School Gusau Old boys association Class of 1999 has today Distributed 100 Uniforms to the orphans and less privilledged pupils in the school. 

Distributing the uniforms, Chairman of the association, Abdulwahaf Ashiru Bayanaka, said the gesture was aim at assisting vulnerable orphans for them to be like other pupils.

According to him, the association has discovered that, some of the pupils were drop out from the school do to lack of uniforms.


He called on other Old boys and wealthy individuals to emulate their association by assisting vulnerable and poor parents in that direction .

“Our Source of income is through Contributions by exco's  and some members” bayanaka said.

“We hope more members will be extending their support for the sustainability of the association”  he contended . 

He Commended members of the association for their unflinching support and cooperation toward success of the association. 

He urged pupils to pay more attention to  their studies, as their future begin right from basic education step .

In his speech, one of the member of the association, Alhaji Jamilu Rabi'u Commended the important personality that honoured their invitation to attend the program, adding that, their association will soon extend similar gesture to teachers of the school as part of the association motivation factors.

"Government alone cannot take all so that people have to contribute for the success" Jamilu Rabiu noted.

In his remarks the State Commissioner of education science and technology, Mallam Wadatau Madawaki, commended the association for the gesture accorded to the vulnerable pupils in the school.

“ I was a Township model primary school old boys class of 1966, were I study from class 1 to 7” Madawaki noted

He assured that, governor Dauda would revive education sector including the salary skill of teachers in the state.

Speaking during the event, Principal Township Model Primary school, Mallam Isah Usman, Commended the association for their concern to less privileged pupils.

Zamfara NSCDC Hosts Acting Provost FCET Gusau

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team.
