Zamfara Re-run election conducted hitch free atmosphere -- NSCDC Boss

Zamfara State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp Sani Mustapha  embarked on routine monitoring of the Re-run Election held in 5RAs of 9 polling Units in Shinkafi State Assembly Constituency.

This was contained in a press statement signed by the spokesperson of the command, Ikor Oche SC, issued to the truth newspapers in Gusau the state capital.

According to Ikor Oche SC, Commandant, Sani Mustapha  visited all the 9PUs where the  Re-run Election was being held, expressed satisfaction with the security architecture put in place in all the PUs.


Commandant Sani Mustapha averred that, the Corps is resolute in providing adequate security coverage during and after the Re-run Election in Shinkafi Local Government Area, “It is to this end that he decided to monitor the elections personally”


Ikor Oche SC said that,  Commandant, Sani Mustapha visited Badarawa ward with the following PUs; Shiyar Fadama Bakin Tabki 002, Shiyar Ajiya Danfili 005 and Shiyar Yaki Zango 004.


He also visited Galadi Ward, with Shiyar Magaji kadarawa 006 PU, Jangeru Ward with Baje II Filin Masau 016 PU, Katuru Ward with, Shiyar Na'umma 002 and Shiyar Gobirawa 013 PUs.

Other PUs visited by the State Commandant include, Shiyar Galadima I Shanawa Dispensary 001 and Shiyar Galadima II Shanawa Dispensary 007, under Shanawa Ward.

Commandant Sani Mustapha also paid a royal visit to the Emir of Shinkafi, Alh. Muhammadu Makwashi Isa, Sarkin Gabas to intimate him of his mission in Shinkafi Local Government Area.

He thanked the Emir for all the support  the Corps has enjoyed from the Emirate council in Shinkafi. 

In response, His Royal Highness, Alh. Muhammadu Makwashi Isa, Sarkin Gabas, the Emir of Shinkafi, eulogized the doggedness of the Corps in the fight against insecurity and brigandage in the state, prayed that all manner of insecurity in the state should come to an end soon.

Meanwhile, the Rerun Election as witnessed by the State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Commandant Sani Mustapha, is being conducted in a hitch free atmosphere in all the 9 Polling Units  visited.

Zamfara NSCDC Hosts Acting Provost FCET Gusau

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team. Insecurity: Zamfara hospitals surfer brain drain - Doctor call rescue
