ZMSG SPEND 2.8 BILLION FOR PURCHASED OF AGRICULTURAL ASSETS FOR FARMERS

  Zamfara state government has spend. 2.8 billion for the purchase of Agree assets and vital farm inputs to farmers for Drainage season farming in the state.

     This was  disclosed by the state programme coordinator of Fadama III  Alhaji samaila Abubakar Ribe during exclusive interview with newsmen in his office in Gusau.

   According to him abaut 11,760 has benefited with Agric assets and vital farm inputs farmers across the 14 local government areas of zamfara state.

     He further stated that out of 174 ward in the state has distributed allocation to register Association Group in each ward  in the state each ward has 8 association Group, so each association Group has 10 person while person only Gusau state capital has double considering that has more  population than any local government in the state.  

He also revealed that fadama III is a  programme which is collaboration with state government and world Bank in order to improve the agricultural farming in the state.

   The state programme coordinator of Fadama III Alhaji samaila Abubakar Ribe however explained that state government has directed us to carry all agricultural assets and vital farm inputs and handling it to each 14 local government areas for his Excellency flagged off we already do that and if we can recall His Excellency Dr Dauda Lawal has visited all ,14 local government in the state. 

    He said from the real information we received zamfara state is become 1st position in terms of follow right channel of world Bank in fadama3 programme all over the nation. He revealed that next week the state fadama3 has expected to get another reimbursement all is part of programme to enhance Agricultural assets in zamfara state.

   He also noted that the programme also touch stakeholders in the state all the allocation of them we distribution according to the rule guide by world Bank. 

He said that fadama III has made a good arrangement to Distribution of 2550 small Animals this programme is purposely design for benefit of women in zamfara state while even women are not left behind state government collaboration with world Bank has guide that 60 percent of this is for the benefit of women in the state, he added that now we are waiting for Her Excellency Hajiya Huriyya Dr Dauda Lawal to come Flagged off the programme with view to enhance the life of women in the state.

  He use the medium and thanks His Excellency Dr Dauda Lawal for this initiative and complete all requirements guide by world Bank because he deserve commendation if we considering that since the creation of zamfara state this first the state has spend huge amount of money in fadama3 programme in order to uplifting Agricultural production in the state.

 Alhaji samaila Abubakar Ribe also advised the beneficiaries of Agricultural assets and vital farm inputs to use it judiciously in order to improve agricultural farming system in zamfara state.

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team.
