Aimal charity foundation has donated Sallah package to 200 orphans and less privileged in Zamfara.
This was disclosed by founder of the foundation, Hajiya Aisha Musa Lawan Dare while distributing the items held at Taula Arena in Gusau.
According to her, the items comprised rice, maize and millet. She said the gesture was aimed to assist the orphans and less privileged to perform Sallah celebration with ease.
According to her, the foundation was established to assist orphans, less privileged and physically challenged persons with health and education problems to build their lives for better future.
She further stated that the purpose of programme was to reduce hardship within the society because people are in critical condition of economic hardship. The foundation, she added, extended a helping as a relief measure to the needy.
She stressed that Aimal charity foundation as a Non governmental organization is independent and has no political beliefs motive. She said its purpose was to assist poor vulnerable children, women and disabled persons to improve their lives for better future.
In his remarks, the chairman of the occasion, Dr Ibrahim Usman thanked the organisers of the programme for the initiative to assist orphans poor and less privileged in zamfara state. He added this a wellcome development and promised to assist foundation in order to improve in zamfara state and nation at large.
He also used the medium and called on beneficiaries to use the gesture and conduct special prayers in this last Ten days of Ramadan to request Allah swt forgiveness and issue of security to restore in the state.
In the same vein, one of the founders of the foundation, Barrister Shafiu Kwatarkwashi, give special donation to disable women with hearing problems and noted that it was one of the main responsibilities of the foundation to assist disabled persons in Zamfara state.
Barrister Shafiu Kwatarkwashi also revealed that immediately after Eid Fitr the foundation will come out with special programmes that touch lives of poor vulnerable children's and women as well as disabled person with view to continue improve the walfare of orphans and less privileged in Zamfara state.
