NSCDC SEALS PRIVATE GUARD COMPANIES IN ZAMFARA

The Zamfara State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps,  Sani Mustapha has sealed about five Private Guard Companies operating in the State without  renewed licenses. 

In a press released signed by the spokesperson of the command, Ikor Oche SC, issued to the truth newspapers in Gusau.

According to the Ikor Oche SC, Commandant Sani Mustapha  said that, the enabling Acts of the Corps 2003 as amended 2007 has mandated the Corps  to supervise, Monitor train and retrain, register  all Private Guards  in the state.

Commandant Sani Mustapha opined that any Company operating without a renewed license is considered illegal.

He therefore advised the operators of such companies to make haste and renew their licenses as the Corps is set to Commence routine monitoring forth nightly.

Commandant Sani Mustapha also enjoined agencies and organisations to patronize only registered and upto date PGC for optimum services. He said in the weeks to come, the Corps will organize a retraining programme for all Private Guards Companies in the state.
