senator representing zamfara Central senatorial zone, senator ikra Aliyu Bilbis has organized two days training workshop of 150  Youths social media platforms in his constituency areas of the zone.

The training was conducted at command guest inn, in Gusau the state capital.

Speaking during the Flagg off of the training workshop on social media platforms noted the training was organised for the benefit of youths social media handlers within four local government areas of his zone.

According to him the 150 participants drawn from Tsafe, Bungudu, Maru and Gusau local government areas of the state.

 Senator ikra Aliyu Bilbis further stated that the essence of workshop training to groom the social media handlers on modern communication.

 Senator ikra Aliyu Bilbis also said that youth as a leader of tomorrow, the youths were supposed to be educated and enlightened ." This workshop is an evenue of of training the youth for future challenges."

Ikra Aliyu Bilbis promised to ensure that the training Worshop was done annually so that every eligible person would benefit.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Governor, malan Mani Malam Mummuni, who is represented Governor Dr Dauda Lawal commended senator ikra Aliyu Bilbis for sponsoring the workshop, and also described it was timely and wellcome development.

He also advised the participants youths social media handlers to avoid sensational comments on social media platforms that could disrupt the peaceful con existence of the people of the state.

In his earlier welcome Address by managing Director of keraweb media limited, Dahiru kera, urge the participants to grab this opportunity to learn the pros cons of the social media and apply the knowledge In their to- day activities on the net, principally by dispelling fake news and promoting positive stories that will propel development and change the negative of zamfara state.
