   The provost college of Health Sciences and Technology Tsafe, Alhaji Hamisu yusuf yelwa acknowledge the Senate for it's one day public hearing on a bill for an act to establish the federal university of Health Sciences and Technology Tsafe, which held in Senate hall Abuja on Monday 13th may 2024.

  The provost said, the establishment of the institution in the state would promote research and training, teaching of Health workers extension services and training of manpower for all health and services for zamfara state indigine, North and country at large.

  He added that, the establishment of university will further support the effort and initiative of zamfara state government by providing and advance teaching and learning environment that will improve the capacity of our health workers and enhance our economic potentials. He said.

  He also thanked the state government for it kind support and cooperation given to the college most especially total renovation of the college.

  He therefore acknowledged the effort of the senator representing Zamfara Central senatorial district, Senator Ikea Aliyu Bilbis for bringing the motion to the Senate for mere approval.

    Those witness the occasion are, Secretary to the State government Alhaji Abubakar Nakwada, prof, Kabiru Sulaiman Tsafe, prof, Lawal Sulaiman Bilbo's, prof Abdullahi Ibrahim chafe, prof Shehu Ismail chafe, prof yusuf muhammad Adamu among many others.

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team. Dr. Aminu Abdullahi of Federal Medical Center (FMC) Gusau made the revelation in a presentation tittle "Internal Brain drain Prons  and Cons in Security Challenge state,  The presentation was made at the Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference organised by the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) FMC Gusau Chapter, held in Gusau.
