Zamfara State Governor Dr, Dauda Lawal has approved the constitution of the 2024 Amirul Hajj Committee.

This was Contained in a press released signed by the Senior Special Assistant (Media) Office of the Secretary to the State Government, Suleiman Ahmad Tudu issued to the truth newspapers in Gusau.

According to Press released, The Committee members include, Deputy Governor His Excellency Malam Mani Malam Mummuni  serve as Chairman,

Emir of Maradun His Royal Highness, Alhaji Garba Muhammad Tambari  Vice  Chairman, Mal. Ibrahim Abubakar Member.

Others are Hadiza Mohammed Gummi, Member, Aisha Ibrahim Member, Special Adviser to the state Governor on Religious Matters Bello Isah Almufty Member, Parmanent Secretary Cabinet affairs Dr. Lawal Hussein Secretary, Executive Secretary, Zakkat Board Mal. Habibu Sheikh Balarabe, Assistant Secretary.

“I expects the committee Members to provide effective leadership and coordination of the activities of other government officials to ensure the success of the 2024 Hajj Exercise” Governor Lawal noted.

FMC Gusau re-affirms Commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital

By Ibrahim Ahmad The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Gusau on Tuesday , reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital for enhanced service delivery. The Medical Director of the FMC Gusau, Dr Bello Mohammed made the re-affirmation during the inauguration of a medical  “Common room” constructed by the centre’ s branch of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors (NARD). In a Press Statement signed by the centre’ s Public Relation Officer, Dr. Naziru Tukur and made available to newsmen, said modalities have been put in place to ensure the actualisation of the upgrade. “The Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) currently offers five accredited medical programmes, with students already in 200 level” “The centre’s management has intensified efforts in providing critical infrastructure for teaching and learning at the facility,” the statement read.
