His Eminence, Alhaji Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar GFR, Mni, the sultan of sokoto, and president - General Nigeria supreme council, for Islamic affairs (NSCIA) has declared Friday 7  2024 as the first day of zulhijja.

This was contained in a press released signed by the chairman advisory committee on religious affairs sultanate council sokoto.

According to the press released, the sultan noted that, Sunday 16 of june 2024 equivalent to 10 zulhijja will mark as this years eid-del kabir, he prayed Allah to accept our religious deeds.

FMC Gusau re-affirms Commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital

By Ibrahim Ahmad The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Gusau on Tuesday , reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital for enhanced service delivery. The Medical Director of the FMC Gusau, Dr Bello Mohammed made the re-affirmation during the inauguration of a medical  “Common room” constructed by the centre’ s branch of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors (NARD).
