Nation wide Protest : NSCDC Deploys Over 520 Personals to 14 LGA's in Zamfara

The Zamfara State Commandant Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Sani Mustapha has  deployed over five hundred and twenty (520) personnel across the fourteen (14) Local Government Areas of the State.

In a press released signed by the spokesperson of the Command ASCII Umar Mohammad M,  issued to the truth newspapers in Gusau the state capital.

According to the ASCII Umar  Mohammad M, said that, deployment of personels aims at safeguard lives and properties of the civil populace and also corroborated that the Critical National Assets & Infrastructures are secured against vandalism as promulgated.

“Commandant Sani Mustapha administered the need for a seamless operation to guarantee the planned nationwide protest is a peaceful demonstration with neither lost of lives, properties nor destruction of critical assets within the confines of the State, urging the personnel to be steadfast and professional in discharging their assigned duties”

FMC Gusau re-affirms Commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital

By Ibrahim Ahmad The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Gusau on Tuesday , reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital for enhanced service delivery. The Medical Director of the FMC Gusau, Dr Bello Mohammed made the re-affirmation during the inauguration of a medical  “Common room” constructed by the centre’ s branch of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors (NARD). In a Press Statement signed by the centre’ s Public Relation Officer, Dr. Naziru Tukur and made available to newsmen, said modalities have been put in place to ensure the actualisation of the upgrade. “The Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) currently offers five accredited medical programmes, with students already in 200 level” “The centre’s management has intensified efforts in providing critical infrastructure for teaching and learning at the facility,” the statement read.
