The federal roads safety corps Zamfara State Command has cautioned commercial drivers to avoid over speeding and over loading.
The state Commandant of corps CC Umar Matazu made the called during a town hall meeting on mitigating of trailers overloading, goods, animals and person to improve road safety in Nigeria.
The theme of the meeting is "Dangers Associated of Overloading Goods, animals and Persons".
The meeting was held at NURTW hall in Gusau the state capital Monday.
Commandant who was represented by the deputy Commandant Musa Shehu, said the called became imperative considering that overloading and over speeding would cost accident.
Matazu urged drivers to avoid mics up goods and people in same vehicle.
He attributed the relationship between road safety and NURTW as cordial, urged them to maintained the tempo.
He also Commended drivers that attended the Town hall meeting and called on them to adhere what they lean during the meeting and thanked the NURTW for the warm reception accord to them.
Elear in his remarks the State Chairman NURTW Makwashe, Welcome all those attends the town meeting prayed Allah to return them back to their resfective destination selfly.
Makwashe Commended the drivers for their turn out to the town meeting, also loud them for their support and cooperation givern to the union, called on them to continue in that direction.
He Commended the executive Governor Dr, Dauda Lawal for his support, cooperation and assistance givern to the union, prayed Allah to protect and guide him to the success.
He urged NURTW members to Continue support Government policy and program for it to success.
In their separate remarks, the representatives of Nato, Nupen, Cattle Sellers Association, Civil defence, Zarota, NDLEA, Mershal, described the meeting as timely.
They called on people of the state to continue praying for peace and stability in the state.
