Zamfara law marker sponsors weeding of 105 Orphans

The law marker representing Bungudu/Maru Federal constituency in the house of Representatives, Hon. Abdul Malik Zubbairu ( Zannah Bungudu) has sponsored the marriage of 105 orphan girls whose parents were killed by bandits in zamfara state.

 The occasion was took place at Bungudu local government areas of his constituency in the state.

A prominent personalities from the state and outside the state has graced with occasion including politicians, business men among others.

Speaking during the event, the law marker Hon. Abdul Malik Zubbairu zannah Bungudu thanks almighty Allah for fulfilment his dream to sponsoring the weedings , and highlighting this program in his constituency Maru/Bungudu areas of zamfara state.

According to him, Iam fulfilment one of my promises by sponsoring 105 brides for marriage to their sulters most of the bridges parents were killed as a result of banditry in the state " he said.

A powerful committee of Ulama and five women from the constituency was constituted for the program.

He further stated that the criteria for the marriage was that the beneficiaries must be Orphans as a result of banditry. They must also be virgins, and not a widows.

The marriage couples were provide with beds and bedding materials by the law marker, in addition to 10.5 million paid as dowry for 105 bridges.  He also provided the sum of #100,000 for each of the 105 bride grooms and #50,000 to each of the 105 grooms to enable them start business of their choices.

In another development, Hon. Kawu  samaila who is the chairman of the occasion, commended the effort of the law marker for his compassionate gesture towards the victims of banditry in his constituency.

He urged the constituencys to appreciate and pray for Hon. Abdul Malik Zubbairu Zannah Bungudu good effective representation.

Hon. Kawu samaila advised newly married couples to be patient with each other emphasizing that marriage is part of ibadat (faith).

Hon. Kawu samaila also personally donated twenty thousand Naira to each couples as part of his assistance during the the mass weeding.
