Zamfara NSCDC pledges full peaceful protest in the state

The Nigeria Security and Civil defence Corps, Zamfara state command has reiterated its determination to ensure peaceful planned nationwide protest in the state. 

The state Commandant Sani Mustapha stated this while holding an emergency meeting with Divisional officers and men of the corps held at NSCDC headquarters in Gusau the state capital Tuesday.

According to him, the essence of the meeting was to brainstorm the personnel on how to monitor the protest,  protect the live and properties of the people and government in the state.

Commandant warned the divisional officers not to release the arms to the men without reason, 

He charged officers and men of the command to ensure professionalism while discharging their duties during the planned nationwide protest slated to hold this Thursday.


It could be recalled that  that NSCDC Zamfara state command had earlier announced the deployment of 520 Personnel during the planned nationwide protest across the 14 Local government areas of the state.

“We have the information that, youth are going round for noticing the government and people properties for vandalization” he narrated.

He called on youth to concentrate with peaceful protest and not vandalize people and government properties.

He assured to work tirelessly with other security agencies for a successful peaceful protest in the state.

At the end of the meeting, commandant Sani Mustapha had presented letters of commendation to his escort team for their hardworking and performance.
