Zamfara State Commissioner of Health Dr. Aisha M.Z. Anka has commended  Governor Dauda Lawal  for his relentless efforts, unwavering supports and commitment towards health care sector in the state. 

This was contained in a press statement signed  by the spokesperson of the Ministry, Mallan Bello Ibrahim Boko, issued to the truth newspapers in Gusau the state capital.

According to the Statement, The Honourable Commissioner who was represented by the THEN acting permanent secretary Mal. Bashir Adamu Gusau made the commendation during a flag off ceremony of mass distribution of 5.6 million doses of seasonal malaria chemo-prevention drugs for under five children across the State.

Dr. Aisha M.Z. Anka noted that the flag off ceremony marks the significant milestone and relentless effort of the ministry to combat malaria which continues to pose a serious threat to the health and well-being of the youngest children in the state.

“The distribution of these life-saving medications underscores the commitment of the state government under the leadership of Dr. Dauda Lawal in ensuring that every child in the state  has access to effective preventive measures against malaria” She said.

The Honourable Commissioner also loud the gigantic efforts of Mresident Malaria Initiatives for supporting and making the ceremony a reality, “President malaria for state supported the state with the 5.6 million doses to the State government in order to curtail the menace of malaria in the state”

She also thanks all partners that work to support to eradicate malaria in the state and all other health sectors which cannot be overemphasized.

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team. Dr. Aminu Abdullahi of Federal Medical Center (FMC) Gusau made the revelation in a presentation tittle "Internal Brain drain Prons  and Cons in Security Challenge state,  The presentation was made at the Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference organised by the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) FMC Gusau Chapter, held in Gusau.
