Mr Tajjudeen Afolabi of zamfara state Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has called on Christian in the state to disregard those parading themselves as leaders, saying his leadership is the authentic in the State.

Afolabi made the disclosure in an interview with the truth newspapers in his office in Gusau, the state capital.

According to him some Christians parade themselves as the leaders of CAN which were wrongly introduced to the state government through Secretary to the State Government, recently in the state.

He appealed to the state government and Christians in the state to disregard any body that parade himself as the leader of CAN.

Afolabi noted that, CAN has over 100,000 Members in Gusau, assured to continue supporting government policy and program in the state.

He Commended Governor Dauda lawal for his support and assistant given to the CAN, called on him not to relent in given succumb to needies.

“We have organized a Special prayers to all our Churches for restoring peace in the state called on both Muslims and Christian to keep praying considering that no society would develop without peace”  apolabi explained.

In his contribution the assistant Secretary of CAN,   pastor paster described the relationship between the Muslims and Christians as cordial in the state, called on both to continue in that direction.
