Federal Lawmaker distributes tailoring, grinding Machines to women/youth in Zamfara

Federal lawmaker representing Anka/Mafara Constituency, Hon. Isah Mohammed Anka,  distributes tailoring and grinding Machines to the Women/Youth in Zamfara State.

Speaking during the flagged off ceremony hon. Isah Muhammad said that, the disbursement aims at drastic reduction of poverty to the lowest ebb in his constituency, assured to be continues.


“we are determined to promote entrepreneurship among women and youths through this program with the confidence to uphold and sustain the tempo for further interventions” hon. Isah said.

“The importance of the grant as part of my campaign's promissory agenda to reduce poverty, spur prosperity,  promote the growth of micro, small, & medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) among women”  he noted.


“The initiative was designed to strengthen poverty alleviation and wealth creation, rather than the previous, unsustainable approach of handing out palliatives to a privileged minority” he added.

In his speech at the flagged off the Legislative Aide to the Office of the Hon. Isah Anka, Mr. Mansur Shehu Anka, highlighted other initiatives underway initiated by the Honorable member, include, food items, kitchen utensils targeted at reducing starvation in the society.

“Cash grant aimed at equipping women and youths, including the Skill Development Corridor, which has trained over 100 youths in various trades, including solar repairs and the use of renewable energy as a source of light for the women”

Furthermore, he announced several social services to the public to alleviate the impact of hardship on citizens, with a significant number given to each local government the honourable member represents.

Mr. Mansur congratulated recipients of the Anka's Business Wallet and reassured the public that the administration's best is yet to come.

in their sprate speeches  Secretary APC, and a vibrant of member of APC  Honourable Mustapha Muhammad Kimba and Alhaji Abba Mai fata, applauded the honorable member for the gesture and wished for more dividend of democracy to the constituency.

They called on the beneficiaries to make judicial use with the items given to them

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team.
