ZACCIMA President Pleads ZMSG To Rescue Grounded Industries, Facilitate Monetary Intervention For Members

President of Zamfara State Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, ZACCIMA, Dr. Hassan Buhari has appealed to Zamfara Governor Dauda Lawal to resuscitate  already folded and ailing industries in the state.

He also urged the state government to approve hosting of 2024 Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara Joint Domestic Trade Fair being proposed by the chamber to be hosted in the state.

The President futher called on the government to facilitate access to loan facilities for its members, establishment of a Micro Finance Bank, create opportunity for members to attend Foreign Missions and provide more security to mining and agriculture sectors of the state.

He lamented collapse industries such as Zamfars Textile Industries, saying it was a set back to the economic growth and development of Zamfara state.

Dr. Hassan Buhari made the plea duting a coutesy visit to Governor Dauda Lawal at Government House, Gusau.

He said, the proposed joint trade fair will portray the economic potentials of the state to the outside world and  would bring in, business Opportunities.

The President added that if established, a Micro Finance Bank will be a morale booster to SMEs, business and non business individuals, and would be a pedal for economic department and financial leverage of the state.

" As a member of Federation of West Africa Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FWCCI) and National  Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), ZACCIMA serves the interest of members and non members, and as a backbone of business entrepreneurs and economic growth and development of Zamfara state", Dr. Hassan explained.

The President, however appauded Governor Dauda Lawal for his efforts toward transformation of Zamfara state in all facets of development.

He commended the Governor's leadership for road networking Zamfara state to improve transportation ssector,  on going reconstruction and renovation of educational institutions and health facilities in the state.

He described the state government's visionary move  towards repositioning the state civil service, construction of new Cargo International Airport and yoûhs empowerment programs as worthy of commendation.

Earlier, Dr. Hassan Buhari told the Governor that the coutesy visit was to brief him on the update of ZACCIMA and to seek approval and support for successful conduct of the proposed Joint Trade Fair 2024.

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team.
