Federal Lawmaker Bilbis Gives Scholarship to 1048 Students in Zamfara

Federal lawmaker Representing Zamfara Central Senator Ikra Aliyu Bilbis has disbursed scholarship to 1048 Students in Various tertiary institutions.

Senator Ikira Aliyu Bilbis Stated this during the distribution of Cash to the Students held at JB Yakubu Secretariat Dr. Garba Nadama hall in Gusau the state capital.

Senator Bilbis noted that the programme was part of his promised to assist Students to further their Education, assured to be Continues.

Bilbis described the Education as the backbone of every development, called on people of the State to acquire both the Islamic and Western Education.

“Last Year I have done a Similar Program to the Students of my constituency“  Ikra Said.

He Commended the State Governor Dauda Lawal for his effort to  gives top  periority in Education Sector, called on him to keep it up.

In his Speech the Emir of Gusau Dr, Ibrahim Bello Commended the Senator for the gestures called on Students to utilize the cash giving to them not to waste it, urged other Politicians, and Wealthy individuals to emulate with Senator Ikra.

In his Remarks, Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal expressed happiness over the Program, described it as welcome development to the Students and people of the State, assured to Continue give all necessary support and assistance to the Education Sector.

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team. Dr. Aminu Abdullahi of Federal Medical Center (FMC) Gusau made the revelation in a presentation tittle "Internal Brain drain Prons  and Cons in Security Challenge state,  The presentation was made at the Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference organised by the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) FMC Gusau Chapter, held in Gusau.
