Malan  Yusuf Tukur from Maru LG  emerge as the winner of 28 annual Qur'anic Recitation Competition in Zamfara State.

Announcing the result the State Chairman of the Competition, who double as Commissioner for Local government and Chieftaincy affairs, Engenear Ahmad Garba Yandi, who was represented by his Vice Malan Yusuf Abdullahi Mafara, 

said that malan Yusuf Tukur from Maru LG Emerge as the winner in Male site while Malama Maryam Bashir Sanda from Gusau LG Emerge as the Winner in Female site.

Malan Yusuf Abdullahi further said both the winners donated with Cheque of #2 million, and the Motorcycle bike to Malan Yusuf by the Chairman of Maru Local Government Hon. Bello Muhammad Jabaka, and a Deep freezer by the chairman of Gusau LG Hon. Abubakar imam to Malama Maryam Bashir Sanda.

He narrated that, 301 Memorizers Participate in the Competition, drawn from 14 local government areas of the State, also donates cash to all Participants depends on their Positions by the State Governor Dauda Lawal.

In his Speech HRH Emir of Anka Attahiru Muhammad Ahmad CON Congratulates the Winners also for loser to take it as an act of God, advised them to keep trying.

In his addressed, the State Governor Dr, Dauda Lawal reassured to Continueus assisting Islamic activities in the State, also donates #100,000 to each of the 301 Participants, ginger them to be more active for the National as well as world Qur'anic Competition, urged them to be good ambassadors were ever they may find themselves.

Important personalities attended the Occasion includes, Deputy Governor of Zamfara state Malam Mani Malam Mummuni, SSG Mal Abubakar Muhammad Nakwada, HRH Emir of Gusau Dr, National Imam Abuja Mosque professor ibrahim Sa'idu maqari among others.

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team. Dr. Aminu Abdullahi of Federal Medical Center (FMC) Gusau made the revelation in a presentation tittle "Internal Brain drain Prons  and Cons in Security Challenge state,  The presentation was made at the Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference organised by the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) FMC Gusau Chapter, held in Gusau.
