Xmas: FRSC remains proactive for hitch free celebration in Zamfara

Zamfara State Command of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) have taken proactive measures to ensure hitch free Christmas celebration in the state.

Isah Aliyu the command Public Relation Officer made the disclosure in a statement issued to newsmen in Gusau the State Capital.

Aliyu said the command had deployed 378 personnel, 14 operational vehicles 3 ambulances and tow truck across the state for effective control of traffic.

The deployed personnel were for Traffic control at strategies location, clearing of obstruction,  and prompt rescue service in the case of eventuality within the state. 

He said the end of the year special operations tag ”Operations Zero Tolerance” and had start from Dec. 15, 2024 to Jen. 15, 2025.

According to him the Sector Commander Tijjani Illiyasu admonished Motorist and public to obey all traffic rules and regulations and desists from anything that can cause road crashes such as:Over speeding, Over Loading, Dangerous Driving, Use of phone while driving Among Others.

While wishing people of the State happy Christmas and New year festivities, he advise the Motorist, Public to driving with caution as the only Living to celebrate.
