Collage of Health Science and Technology Tsafe get additional Courses in Zamfara -- Provost

The zamfara State  College of Health Sciences and Technology in Tsafe received the approval of additional National Diploma courses by the National Board of Technical Education (NBTE). 

In a Press Statement Signed by the Spokesperson of the Institution, Mallan Jamilu Sani Tsafe issued to the truth newspapers in Gusau.

According to the Statement the development marks a significant milestone for the college, as it expands its educational offerings to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in the healthcare and technology sectors.

The Provost of the institution Alhaji Hamisu Yusuf Yelwa, expressed his delight at the approval, highlighting the rigorous process undertaken by the college to secure accreditation for the new courses.

Among the newly approved courses are National Diploma programs in Public Health, Epidemiology and Disease Control, Environmental Health Technology, Dental Surgery Technology, Computer Sciences, Health Information Technology, and Biomedical Engineering.

“Additionally, variations of existing programs such as Community Health Technology and Environmental Health Technology have also been included in the list of approved courses”

”This broadened curriculum reflects the college's commitment to providing students with diverse educational opportunities in high-demand fields”

“The NBTE's assurance that graduates from 2018 to 2023 will receive admission to universities without the need for a JAMB number is a testament to the quality of education provided by the College of Health Sciences and Technology in Tsafe«

 “The college's partnerships with professional bodies such as the Community Health Practitioners Board of Nigeria and the Environmental Health Council of Nigeria have played a crucial role in securing the necessary approvals for the new courses”

“These collaborations will also facilitate the certification and registration of students in relevant professional organizations upon completion of their programs”

In response to the increased demand for healthcare workers, the college has expanded the number of slots available for Community Health Extension Workers (CHEW) and Junior Community Health Extension Workers (JCHEW). 

“The approval to conduct certification examinations for National Diploma programs in Community Health Technology at the college further emphasizes its role as a hub for excellence in healthcare education”

Additionally, the recognition of the college as a center for professional registration by the Environmental Health Council of Nigeria underscores its commitment to producing skilled and competent graduates in the field of public health and environmental management.

Zamfara NSCDC Hosts Acting Provost FCET Gusau

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team. Dr. Aminu Abdullahi of Federal Medical Center (FMC) Gusau made the revelation in a presentation tittle "Internal Brain drain Prons  and Cons in Security Challenge state,  The presentation was made at the Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference organised by the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) FMC Gusau Chapter, held in Gusau.
