Zamfara State Fire Service Records 753 Fire outbreaks, 22 Death between January 2024 to January 2025 across the 14 local government areas of the State.

Executive director State Fire Service Abdullahi jibo Dauran Stated in an interview with the truth Newspapers in his office Gusau the State capital.

According to the Executive Director, said they have 4 Zonal office, 6 Stations across the State to tackles the issues of fire outbreaks and other related.

Executive Director noted that, the cause of Fire outbreak some times is Electricity, Called on People of the State to Switch-off all Electrical apparatus before Sleeping.

“Carelessness may cause Fire outbreak, called on People to avoid carelessness that may cause Fire outbreak”

Abdullahi Jibo Dauran narrated that, Governor Dauda Lawal has Purchase new Mordern Fire Fighting Vehicles to be Installs to the StatevFire Service office for ease operation, also Provide all necessary equipment for the Fire Service.

Jibo called on Drivers to avoid Over loading, and Over Speeding that may cause fire outbreak.

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team. Dr. Aminu Abdullahi of Federal Medical Center (FMC) Gusau made the revelation in a presentation tittle "Internal Brain drain Prons  and Cons in Security Challenge state,  The presentation was made at the Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference organised by the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) FMC Gusau Chapter, held in Gusau.
