Zamfara ZEB plans to distribute Ramadan, Sallah welfare packages to orphans and less privileged persons

Arrangements were concluded by the zamfara Zakkat and Endowment board to distribute Ramadan and Sallah welfare package to orphans and less privileged persons across the 19 Emirate Councils in the state.

This was disclosed by the the Executive secretary of the board, Malan Habibu Muhammad Balarabe Zawiyya while briefing  newsmen at the board's  headquarters in Gusau recently.

According to the Executive secretary,  the programme schedule of the distribution for the 19 Emirate Councils has been outlined. 

He further stated that  the Zakkat board has made good arrangements to ensure that all  19  Emirate Councils across the state  benefit with the gesture.

Malan Habibu Muhammad Balarabe  disclosed the  scheduled distribution programme for each Emirate Council in the state as follows: 

Day1 comprising ,Anka, Bukkuyyum and Gummi Emirate Councils to hold to at Anka Emirate council on 23 /2/2025 by 11: am.

Day 2:  Talata mafara, Bakura and Maradun Emirate Councils to hold at Talata Mafara Emirate council on 24/2/2025 at 11: am.

Day 3:  Shinkafi, Bazai, Zurmi, Birnin Magaji, Moriki, and kaura Namoda Councils to  hold at Kaura Namoda Emirate council on 25/2/2025 by 11: am.

Day 4:  Gusau, Tsafe, Bungudu Maru, kwatarkwashi, yan doton Tsafe, Dansadau Councils to  hold at Gusau Emirate council on 26/ 2/2025  respectively.

Executive secretary Malan Habibu Muhammad Balarabe similarly revealed  that the orphans and less privileged will be given  food, clothes and financial assistance during the programme.

He also enjoined the beneficiaries after  receiving the gesture to use the Ramadan  fasting period to pray for Governor Dauda Lawal's success In his fight against banditry and general insecurity in Zamfara and nation at large.
