ZMSG Inaugurates Technical Working Group on Human Capital Development

Zamfara State Government has inaugurated the Technical Working Group (TWG) on Human Capital Development (HCD).

In a Press Statement Signed by the Spokesperson office of the Special adviser on Human Capital Development, Mallan Biliyaminu Muhammad, issued to the Journalists in Gusau.

According to the Biliyaminu Muhammad said the innaugration Ceremony lead by the Deputy Governor  Malam Mani Malam Mumuni. 

In his addressed the Deputy Governor who double as the Chairman Zamfara State Human Capital Development Council,

underscored the government’s determination to ensure the success of human capital development initiatives in the state. 

He emphasized the importance of collaboration and hard work in unlocking the potential of Zamfara's people.

“As a group of stakeholders and experts in various fields, it is my expectation that you will ensure the success of this Council's activities” he noted.

“Human capital development is about enhancing the skills, knowledge, abilities, and experiences of individuals, and this is central to our goal of achieving prosperity”

“This initiative is about making the best use of our human resources to propel Zamfara State forward”

In his Remarks Special adviser Human Capital Development Hon. Nura Suraj Gusau, and Chairman of the TWG, further elaborated on the committee’s responsibilities. 

He outlined the key roles of the TWG, which include developing and recommending human capital strategies, fostering a high-performance work culture, ensuring community engagement, and coordinating the efforts of relevant MDAs to eliminate bottlenecks in service delivery.

“The Human Capital Development Council in Zamfara State has already taken significant steps towards enhancing the state’s human capital potential”

“The TWG is tasked with driving the implementation of these strategies and ensuring that our human capital initiatives are well-structured and impactful” 

“The initiatives of the TWG will focus on empowering the youth and women of Zamfara, ensuring that their acquired skills and knowledge are optimally utilized to contribute to the state’s development”

“This approach is aligned with Governor Dauda Lawal’s “Rescue Agenda, which aims to improve human capital development as a means to boost economic progress, reduce poverty, and enhance the well-being of Zamfara residents”

In his Speech, on behalf of TWG, Dr. Yakubu Sanusi, expressed  commitment to working alongside other dedicated professionals to advance the human capital development agenda. 

“We recognize the importance of human capital in driving economic growth, and we are fully committed to supporting the state government’s efforts to prioritize education, healthcare, and skills development for a better future for all citizens of Zamfara”

“The inauguration ceremony saw active participation from council members, who engaged in productive discussions aimed at ensuring the success of the Human Capital Development initiatives in the state”

“With the TWG now officially inaugurated, Zamfara State is set to make significant strides in human capital development, paving the way for a brighter, more prosperous future for its people”
