TRIBUTE TO Dr. MUSA BARA'U GAMJI

It is with profound sadness and gratitude that we pay tribute to Dr. Musa Barau Gamji, a remarkable mentor, educator, and community leader whose life and legacy resonate deeply within us. Dr. Gamji was more than just a lecturer at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria; he was an embodiment of knowledge, compassion, and dedication to service. His impactful contributions to the academic realm and community development stand as a testament to his unwavering commitment to uplifting others through education and mentorship. 

Dr. Gamji’s influence extended far beyond the walls of the university. In Zamfara State, he was a fervent advocate for the information sector, playing a pivotal role at Zamfara State Radio. His work was characterized by a deep understanding of the power of communication, and he utilized this platform to address critical issues, promote civic engagement, and foster a sense of community among listeners. Through his compelling voice and insightful programs, he ensured that the values of accountability and transparency were not just spoken about, but actively promoted and upheld. 

As an associate member of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Zamfara State council, Dr. Gamji worked tirelessly to enhance the standard of journalism in the region. He recognized the importance of a free and responsible press in shaping public opinion and advancing democracy. His contributions to various Ramadan programs on the radio were particularly poignant, as he used this sacred time to inspire reflection, unity, and compassion among the community members. He was a guiding light, reminding us of our shared responsibilities toward one another. 

Dr. Gamji’s involvement at Abdi Gusau Polytechnic in Talata Mafara demonstrated his belief in the transformative power of education. As a council member, he consistently advocated for initiatives that empowered students and enriched their learning experiences. He understood the struggles that many local government communities faced, and he worked diligently to address educational disparities, ensuring that young minds were equipped with the tools needed for success. 

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Gamji was a loving family man and a cherished friend. His warmth, kindness, and willingness to lend an ear made him a beloved figure among his peers, students, and community members alike. In every interaction, he exuded a profound sense of empathy and understanding, making it easy for others to connect with him. His legacy is one of love, integrity, and unwavering support for those around him. 

As we mourn the loss of Dr. Musa Barau Gamji, we take comfort in the knowledge that he is beloved by the Almighty, who surely loves him better than any of us ever could. In this time of grief, we also celebrate his extraordinary life and the indelible marks he has left on our hearts and communities. May the Almighty protect his family and grant them the strength to navigate this profound loss. 

Rest in peace, Dr. Gamji. Your spirit will continue to inspire us, and your contributions will not be forgotten. You have paved the way for many, and your legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those you touched. Thank you for everything.

Zamfara NSCDC Hosts Acting Provost FCET Gusau

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team. In a Press Statement signed by the Spokesperson of the Command ASCII Umar Mohammad M issued to the Journalists in Gusau. Insecurity: Zamfara hospitals surfer brain drain - Doctor call rescue

Dr. Aminu Abdullahi of Federal Medical Center (FMC) Gusau made the revelation in a presentation tittle "Internal Brain drain Prons  and Cons in Security Challenge state,  The presentation was made at the Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference organised by the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) FMC Gusau Chapter, held in Gusau.
