Zamfara Police Command got new Commissioner, plead Support0

The Zamfara State Police Command got a new Commissioner, he is Ibrahim Balarabe Maikaba.

This was Contained in a Press Statement Signed by the Spokesperson of the Command DSP Yazid Abubakar, issued to the journalists in Gusau the State Capital.

According to the Statement, Ibrahim Balarabe Maikaba is the 35th Commissioner in the State.

Statement noted that, CP Ibrahim Balarabe Maikaba take over from CP MD Shehu psc, who was Promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) and redeployed to the Counter-Terrorism Unit (CTU), Force Headquarters, Abuja.  

CP Maikaba was born in nasarawa LGA of Kano state on 15 February,1968, he attends both primary and secondary schools in Kano state, he  holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Economics, Bayero University, Kano.

CP Ibrahim Balarabe Maikaba Joined the Nigeria Police Force in 1994 as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP). 

Maikaba brings a wealth of experience, having served in multiple commands and strategic positions, including,

Divisional Crime Officer (DCO), Daura Division, Katsina State, 

Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in several divisions (Kafur, Dandume, Bunkure, Minjibir).

Other are Commander Joint Border Patrol Team (Kebbi/Seme Axis), Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in various capacities,

Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Zonal Criminal Investigation Department (ZCID), Kano, Dc operation Delta State Police Command.

The rest are Commissioner of Police (CP) Admin, Research & Planning, Force Headquarters, Abuja,Commissioner of Police, Ports Authority Police Command, Lagos.

His exceptional track record in crime prevention, intelligence-led policing, and inter-agency collaboration informed his posting to Zamfara State.  

CP Maikaba is married and blessed with children.  

The new Commissioner of Police pledges to consolidate on the achievements of his predecessor, ensuring improved security and community engagement in Zamfara State.

Zamfara NSCDC Hosts Acting Provost FCET Gusau

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team. Dr. Aminu Abdullahi of Federal Medical Center (FMC) Gusau made the revelation in a presentation tittle "Internal Brain drain Prons  and Cons in Security Challenge state,  The presentation was made at the Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference organised by the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) FMC Gusau Chapter, held in Gusau.
