Emir of Tsafe, Alhaji Muhammad Bawa, has turbaned Treasurer of the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Comrade Jamilu Sani Tsafe as Magajin Gari Tsafe III and Village Head Tsafe South to strengthen traditional heritage and promote the development of the emirate. 

The ceremony conducted at the Emir’s palace in Tsafe Local Government Areas witnessed a large turnout of people from all walks of life. The Emir of Tsafe said the Village head turbaned based on traditional lineage and immense 

He further said the Emirate turbaned Village head Tsafe South to strengthen traditional heritage and promote the development of the emirate.

Alhaji Muhammad Bawa said the Magajin Gari Tsafe III and the Village head Tsafe South turbaned based on traditional lineage and immense contributions to the development of the emirate, the state, and the nation in general.

The Emir also tasked the new traditionalists to use their vast experiences to attract more glory, respect, and positive development to the emirate.

He also urged him to redouble commitment and sacrifices towards boosting traditional and cultural heritage as well as contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic, religious, and educational standards of people in the emirate.

The Emir stressed the need for the newly turbaned Magajin Gari Tsafe III and Village head Tsafe South  to promote the spirit of unity, harmony, and tolerance among their followers for the stability of the larger society.

In his remarks, the Corespondents of Voice of America (VOA) who double as  Zonal Secretary Northwest Zone A of Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Comrade Abdulrazak Bello Kaura warned the newly turbaned Magajin Gari Tsafe III and Village head Tsafe South to avoid any act inimical to the norms and culture of people while urging him to always serve as good ambassador of the emirate anywhere he find himself.

In his response, the newly Magajin Gari Tsafe III and Village Head Tsafe South, Comrade Jamilu Sani Tsafe, expressed his gratitude to the State Governor, Dr. Dauda Lawal, Emir of Tsafe Alhaji Muhammad Bawa, and members of Tsafe Emirate Council for finding him worthy of the position. 

He promised to redouble his commitment and work diligently to meet the expectations of his constituents.

In his Vote of thanks  the News Editor of Zamfara State Printing and Publishing company (the Weekly Legacy Newspaper) who doubles as Chairman Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Zamfara State Council, Comrade Ibrahim Musa Maizare urged him to unite his people and make sure peace exists within the society in Tsafe LGA

The event was attended by the Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Legacy Chapel, Comrade Bilyaminu Muhammad, Secretary of NUJ Legacy Chapel, Comrade Nasiru Abubakar Albani, Auditor NUJ Legacy Chapel Comrade Lawal Ya'u, Treasurer of Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Comrade Hajara Abdullahi, Chairman SWAN, Comrade Murtala Rabi'u Dabbakal, former Secretary of NUJ Legacy Chapel and Director Administration Government House, Comrade Shehu Muhammad Gusau, and members of NUJ Legacy Chapel Comrade Abdul'aziz Isah Rikiji.

Provost Federal College of Education Technical (FCET) Gusau, Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team.
