Members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists Zamfara State Council have Pass of Vote of Confidence on Present Chairman of NUJ  Comrade Ibrahim Musa Maizare in the state 

This was disclosed on Saturday Following a Request by the Chairman  Legacy Newspaper Chapel, Comarede Billiyaminu Muhammad, and Supported by the Chairperson Nigeria Women Journalists, Comrade Jamila Kanoma, during a state Congress  held at the Nuj Secretariat in Gusau.

FMC Gusau re-affirms Commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital

By Ibrahim Ahmad The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Gusau on Tuesday , reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital for enhanced service delivery. The Medical Director of the FMC Gusau, Dr Bello Mohammed made the re-affirmation during the inauguration of a medical  “Common room” constructed by the centre’ s branch of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors (NARD). In a Press Statement signed by the centre’ s Public Relation Officer, Dr. Naziru Tukur and made available to newsmen, said modalities have been put in place to ensure the actualisation of the upgrade. “The Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) currently offers five accredited medical programmes, with students already in 200 level” “The centre’s management has intensified efforts in providing critical infrastructure for teaching and learning at the facility,” the statement read.
