Zamfara NUJ TREASURE ELEVATED TO MAGAJI GARIN TSAFE III

Magajin Garin Tsafe III/ District head of Tsafe South

Jamilu Sani Kago, the Treasurer of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Zamfara State Council, has been turbaned as Magajin Garin Tsafe III and District Head of Tsafe South in the Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State, Northwest Nigeria. The turbaning ceremony was held this past Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Tsafe Local Government Headquarters.

The event was attended by notable dignitaries, including Comrade Abdulrazak Bello Kaura, the Secretary of the NUJ Zone A Northwest; Comrade Ibrahim Musa Maizere, the Chairman of the NUJ Zamfara State; and Comrade Ibrahim Ahmad Gada, the Secretary. The Correspondents' Chapel was represented by its vice-chairman, Muhammad Sidi, and the Chapel Secretary, Aminu Maiyanci, among other esteemed members of the journalism community in Zamfara State.

Attendees at the ceremony praised Jamilu Sani Kago as a humble, sincere, and honest individual, worthy of the honor bestowed upon him. Their commendations reflect his unwavering dedication, commitment, and love for humanity, which have earned him the respect and admiration of his peers.

The 18th Emir of Tsafe, Alhaji Muhammad Bawa, took the opportunity to urge the newly turbaned Magajin Garin Tsafe III to lead his people with the fear of God and compassion. He emphasized the importance of attracting initiatives that will foster development and progress within his domain.
