Chairman Governing Council Louds Governor Dauda for his Commitment to health care delivery

The Chairman Governing Council of the Zamfara State College of Health Sciences and Technology Tsafe, Professor Jafaru Makau Kaura has expressed gratitude to the State Government for its ongoing commitment to enhancing health care delivery services in the state.
In a Statement Signed by the Sporksperson of the Institution Mallan Jamilu Sani Tsafe issued to the Journalists in Gusau.
According to the Statement, Professor Jafaru kaura, stated this during a Meeting with Management and Staff's of the Institution, he praised the Leadership of Governor Dauda Lawal for his focus on the College.
Jafaru kaura Commended the State Governor Dr, Dauda Lawal for his Concern to the College and health care in the State, called on him to maintain the tempo.
Professor Kaura also appealed to the state government for the construction of additional hostel facilities on the college grounds to better accommodate students.
He acknowledged the efforts of the member representing the Gusau/Tsafe federal constituency in establishing a standard Computer Based Training (CBT) center for the college.
During the meeting, Alhaji Hamisu Yusuf Yelwa, the Provost of the College, discussed various pressing issues concerning the institution's development. "We currently offer 16 courses at the college, of which we have obtained accreditation from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) for 10 courses, including three full accreditations and five interim accreditations”
“We are now seeking the governor’s approval on how to proceed with the remaining six courses," he said.
The Provost also mentioned the college management's request for amendments to the gazette, highlighting numerous omissions that need to be addressed.
The college looks forward to continued support from both the state government and stakeholders in enhancing the quality of education and health care delivery in Zamfara State.
