Zamfara Gov's. Wife shares Sallah package to 1000 women

The Wife of Zamfara State Governor, Hajjiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal distributes Sallah Packages to 1000 Women, as part of its ongoing efforts to support the needy toward eliminating poverty in the state.

Presenting the items the First Lady represented by the Permanent Member Teachers Services Board, Hajjiya Larai Musa said the initiative was in line with the priority interest of the Governor Dauda Lawal administration, that committed towards improving the welfare of the less privileged, particularly at the grassroots level.

Hajjiya Larai narrated that, The items distributed  include Cows, rams, Foodstuffs, and cash,“aimed of the gesture was to enable the less privilege persons to celebration Eid-el-Kabir festival in a comfort manner and improve their livelihood”

“The beneficiaries was Selected drawn from 14 Local government areas of the State” She added.

She called on beneficiaries to utilize the items judiciously not to sale it out.

She urged the people of state to use the Sallah period to seek divine intervention in addressing the multidimensional security challenges facing the state and the country.

Larai Emphasizing that the government of Governor Lawal has consistently made women empowerment a central part of its developmental agenda.

Musa describe the First Lady as  longstanding philanthropic and humanitarian contributor that continues to champion initiatives that uplift the vulnerable and restore hope to those in need.

She then called on the people of the state to remain  of Governor Lawal’s administration as it works to bring progress and stability to the state.

Earlier speaking a Political Associate of the Governor's Wife, Hajiya Hadiza MaiH appreciate the First Lady over the gesture, describing the assistance as timely. 

She urged local government committee especially those in rural areas, to ensure fairness and transparency in the distribution of the items.
