Nigeria Union of Journalists Zamfara State Council has elected new Executives to run the affairs of the Union in the next three years.

Annoucing the result at the Press Centre Gusau, the Chairman Credentials Committee, Comrade Dahiru Samaila Mafara, said Ibrahim Musa Maizare of the Legacy  Newspaper has re-elected on oppose as the Chairman, also the remaining Officeses of Vice Chairman Malan  Halliru of NTA Gusau, Secretary IbrahimG Ahmad Gada of the News agency of Nigeria, Assistance Secretary Magajin Garin Tsafe Malan Jamilu Tsafe of the Legacy Newspaper Gusau, remains on oppose.


Others are Financial Secretary Malan Surajo Muhammad of the Pride FM Gusau, Auditor Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammad of the Legacy Newspaper, Treasurer Hajiya Nafisa Kanoma of the Zamfara State Radio also remain on oppose.

Innaugrating the new executives, the National Secretary Zone A of Nigeria Union of Journalists a former Chairman NUJ Zamfara State Council Comrade Abdurrazak Bello Kaura, urged the new leaders to justify the confidence repose in them and carry every one alone.

“Assist of Orphans is better then to assist some once, new leaders should remember the Families of late Members of the Nuj Zamfara Council” he said.

In his acceptance Speech the new Chairman Comrade Ibrahim Musa Maizare thanked the Members of NUJ for giving them another chance to be the leaders of  the union, assured Continue from were they stopped.

In his Speech the National President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comrade Alhasan Yahaya Represented by the Vice President Zone A of the NUJ Alhaji tukur Muhammad umar express happiness over the innaugration, also Congratulate the new leaders, urged them to  consider the Families of late Members of the Union in the State, also ogernize a Special prayer to late Members of the Union.
