Zamfara unconditional grant empowers 100 SMS business women

Zamfara State Government has empower 100 Small Medium Scale business women of 14 Local Government area under the Unconditional Cash Grant.

Distributing the grant in Gusau on Wednesday, the Wife of State Governor, Hajiyya Huriyya Lawal said the initiative was supported by Gov. Lawal administration to empowered women and strength the foundation of the community development and growth.

"We believe that when you empower a women you empower the generation” She said

Lawal said 100 determine and interspersing women were empowered with cash grant ranging from 300,000 to 500,000 each for the development of their business and economic growth.

The support was Unconditional because we count the vision, effort and ability towards growth, this is inline with governor's vision of inclusive  development which bring women at the center.

Various women empowerment and laying down foundation of women development center was a clear testimony.

Appreciating the gesture  Naima Idris  from Talata Mafara commended the initiative, adding that it had give opportunity to women in business contribute their quarter to economic growth and development.

She promise that the beneficiaries would invest the intervention wisely to boost their businesses and create more advantage for others to be engaged through their businesses.

FMC Gusau re-affirms Commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital

By Ibrahim Ahmad The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Gusau on Tuesday , reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital for enhanced service delivery. The Medical Director of the FMC Gusau, Dr Bello Mohammed made the re-affirmation during the inauguration of a medical  “Common room” constructed by the centre’ s branch of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors (NARD).
