The Establishment of the Federal University of Health Sciences and Technology in Tsafe has been described as welcome development to the tsafe and Zamfara as whole.
This was Stated by the Chairman Tsafe Local Government Media Practitioners Forum, Mallan Ahmad Sani Tsafe, in a Press Released Signed by the Secretary of the Forum, Mallan Jamilu Sani Tsafe, issued to the journalists in Gusau the capital city.
According to the Jamilu Sani Tsafe, Chairman noted that, it is a significant development marking a major milestone for the educational and health sectors in Zamfara State and Nigeria as a whole.
Chairman Commended the Federal Government for its visionary decision to situate this pioneering institution in Tsafe, “noting that the university is set to become a hub for cutting-edge research, education, and innovation in health sciences and technology, providing the youth with enhanced opportunities for higher education and skills development”
According to the forum, establishment of the university will not only boost academic and professional growth, but also stimulate the local economy by creating jobs and encouraging infrastructural development.
"We believe this will contribute immensely to improving healthcare delivery through the training of skilled and competent health professionals who will serve our society with dedication" the statement added.
"As media practitioners, we pledge to support and promote the activities, achievements, and growth of the Federal University of Health Sciences and Technology, Tsafe, call on all stakeholders, government, community leaders, and citizens to collaborate in nurturing the institution to become a beacon of excellence in health sciences and technology education"

Ahmad Tsafe appealed to the State Government not to relocate the Institution to another place.
