FRSC Organizes Town hall Meeting, warns against under age drivers in Zamfara

Federal Road safety Corps organizes Town hall Meeting against Traffic Violence in Zamfara State.

The Town hall Meeting held at Federal road safety Corps headquater's bypass road in Gusau, the State capital.

Speaking at the event Sector Commander Federal road safety Corps. CC Aliyu Ma'aji  said he was organize the town hall meeting to discourse the danger of traffic violence include, Overloading, Over Speeding, Uses of cell Phone and other social verses when driving.

CC Aliyu Ma'aji noted that, he who arrest with any one the that he will face the Challenge.

Ma'aji urged the road users to aviod anything that would send them into trouble.

He warns the Vehicle owners to stop allowed the under age child driving.

In their Sperates Speeches, the Representatives of Police, Civil defence, NURTW, Zarota, NATO, NUPEN, and  Chairmen Cattle Sellars Association, and grand Sellers Association, Alhaji Aminu and Alhaji Muhammad, Expressed happiness over the Meeting, assured to support, cooperate with the FRSC to the Success.

In his Remarks Emir of Gusau, HRN Abdlukadir Ibrahim Bello, who was represented by the district head of T/wada, Alhaji Bashir Kabir Danbaba, Commended the FRSC for organizing the Meeting, urged the Participants to adhere what they learn during the Meeting, assured to Support the FRSC to achieve their  desire goals.

FMC Gusau re-affirms Commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital

By Ibrahim Ahmad The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Gusau on Tuesday , reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital for enhanced service delivery. The Medical Director of the FMC Gusau, Dr Bello Mohammed made the re-affirmation during the inauguration of a medical  “Common room” constructed by the centre’ s branch of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors (NARD). In a Press Statement signed by the centre’ s Public Relation Officer, Dr. Naziru Tukur and made available to newsmen, said modalities have been put in place to ensure the actualisation of the upgrade. “The Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) currently offers five accredited medical programmes, with students already in 200 level” “The centre’s management has intensified efforts in providing critical infrastructure for teaching and learning at the facility,” the statement read.
