FRSC Partners Min. of Works for Fight against Traffic Violence, others in Zamfara

Zamfara State Sector Commander Federal Road Safety Corps, CC Aliyu Ma'aji Seeks Partinership with the State Ministry of Works and  Infrastructure for Fighting against  Overloading Traffic Lights and Route Violations. 

In a Press Released Signed by the Sporksperson of  FRSC, SRC  Isah Aliyu Kankara issued to the journalists in Gusau.

According to the Isah Aliyu Sector Commander CC Aliyu Ma'aji made the Statement while he paid a Courtesy Visit to the Hon. Commissioner of Works and Infrastructure Lawal Barau Bungudu in his office Gusau.

CC Aliyu Ma'aji pointout that,  it's high time we came together to save the lives and properties of our road users through joint operations and sustained mobile courts.

Ma'aji narrated that part of his visit was to establish partnership with the Ministry to fight against OverLoading, Route  and Traffic Lights Violations.

Responding the Hon. Commissioner Ministry of works and Infrastructure Lawal Barau Bungudu thanks the Sector Commander for the visit, assured to Support Cooperate with the FRSC towards achieve Corps Mandates.

FMC Gusau re-affirms Commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital

By Ibrahim Ahmad The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Gusau on Tuesday , reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital for enhanced service delivery. The Medical Director of the FMC Gusau, Dr Bello Mohammed made the re-affirmation during the inauguration of a medical  “Common room” constructed by the centre’ s branch of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors (NARD). In a Press Statement signed by the centre’ s Public Relation Officer, Dr. Naziru Tukur and made available to newsmen, said modalities have been put in place to ensure the actualisation of the upgrade. “The Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) currently offers five accredited medical programmes, with students already in 200 level” “The centre’s management has intensified efforts in providing critical infrastructure for teaching and learning at the facility,” the statement read.
