Gusau Emirate development and Endowment Forum ( GEDEF) has organized walimat in honour of the new Emir of Gusau Abdulkadir Ibrahim Bello.

The walima held at Gusau Emirate Palace Premises, in Gusau the State Capital.

Speaking at the event, the Chairman Gusau Emirate Development and Endowment Forum, Hon. Mujitaba isah, Said they were organized the Walimat to celebrate the appointment of the new Emir, Abdulkadir Ibrahim Bello, reassured to Support, Cooperate with the Emirate to the Success.

Mujitaba Isah called on new Emir to emulate with good deed of his Father, prayed Allah Protect and guide the new emir to the Success.

In the same vein GEDEF presents award to the Important Personalities, include, Commissioner for Education, science and technology, Malan Wadatau Madawaki, Commission of Local government and Cheiftancy affairs, Engr Ahmad Garba Yandi, Chief judge Justice kulum Aliyu.

Others are, Commissioner of Justice, SAN Abdulaziz Sani, SSG Malan Abubakar Nakwada, Commissioner of Finance Hon. Bello auta, among others.

Speaking on behalf of awardees Commissioner for Education Science and Technology, Malan Wadatau Madawaki, thanked the GEDEF for the awards given to them, assured to support, Cooperate and assist to the Success of GEDEF, also Congratulate the new Emir for the appointment, prayed Allah to protect and guide the new Emir, to the Success.

Responding the new Emir, of Gusau Abdulkadir Ibrahim Bello thanked the GEDEF for organizing the Walimat, “been me as the Member of the GEDEF I will always support and assist to the Success.

“GEDEF was Created by my Father, late Ibrahim Bello, I am reassured to Continues were he Stopped” emir noted.

Emir called on GEDEF Members and Dignitaries to always answer the invitation to attend the Emirates when the need arose.

FMC Gusau re-affirms Commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital

By Ibrahim Ahmad The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Gusau on Tuesday , reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital for enhanced service delivery. The Medical Director of the FMC Gusau, Dr Bello Mohammed made the re-affirmation during the inauguration of a medical  “Common room” constructed by the centre’ s branch of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors (NARD). In a Press Statement signed by the centre’ s Public Relation Officer, Dr. Naziru Tukur and made available to newsmen, said modalities have been put in place to ensure the actualisation of the upgrade. “The Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) currently offers five accredited medical programmes, with students already in 200 level” “The centre’s management has intensified efforts in providing critical infrastructure for teaching and learning at the facility,” the statement read.
