Zamfara State Human Capital Development holds a 2 days Strategy Workshop.

According the to Comrade Biliyaminu Muhammad, the workshop holds in Kaduna State, brought together key stakeholders, including government officials, academics, representatives of NGOs, CBOs, development partners, and traditional rulers.
“The sessions provided a platform for robust discussions on strategies to improve the health, education, skills, and economic empowerment of Zamfara’s population” he explained.

“The workshop focused on outlining the state’s HCD vision, mission, and goals, emphasizing the creation of a healthy, educated, and economically productive population and shifted to practical strategies for implementation, monitoring, and evaluation” he noted.
“Presentations covered the role of HCD in state transformation, with in depth discussions on the thematic areas of health & nutrition, education & skills, labour & economic empowerment, social inclusion, and governance”
“Facilitators at the event included Prof. Kabiru Haruna ĆŠanja of the Federal University of Education, Zaria; Prof. Abdullahi Adamu Kutama of Bayero University, Kano; and Hon. Sagir Balarabe, Special Adviser on HCD, Kaduna State”
“Sessions addressed the development of realistic action plans, effective use of data, stakeholder collaboration, and the direct link between HCD investments and poverty Reduction”
“At the conclusion of the workshop, participants agreed on developing a comprehensive state wide HCD implementation framework with measurable outcomes, strengthening data systems, and enhancing stakeholder engagement”
“Certificates were presented to participants in recognition of their contributions”
In his closing remarks, Hon. Nura Suraj expressed appreciation to all facilitators and participants, reaffirming the Zamfara State Government’s determination to leverage human capital development as a pathway to prosperity, economic growth, and lasting peace.
