17 People Die as Bus plunges into a collapse bridge in Zamfara -- FRSC

Zamfara Sector Commander of Federal Road Safety Corp CC Aliyu Ma'aji has Confirm the death of 17 people mostly women along Gwalli road in Gummi local government area of the State

In a Press Statement Signed by the Spokesperson of FRSC Isah Aliyu issued to the Journalists in Gusau capital city.

According to the Statement, the accident occurred due to a collapse bridge, that collapse within the week, while the resident have been using sandbags for a Local Construction for motorist to pass.

The Statement further said  Sector Commander CC Aliyu Ma'aji has deep sorrow and sadness due to the lost of lives, also condolences the government and People of Zamfara State over the incidence.

Ma'aji advised motorist public against late travelled and overloading, 

He urged Motorist to seek for information on road conditions before travelling. 

The sector commander  thanks all Stakeholders who rally round to rescue some passengers inside the river.

FMC Gusau re-affirms Commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital

By Ibrahim Ahmad The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Gusau on Tuesday , reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital for enhanced service delivery. The Medical Director of the FMC Gusau, Dr Bello Mohammed made the re-affirmation during the inauguration of a medical  “Common room” constructed by the centre’ s branch of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors (NARD).
