FRSC ZAMFARA BEGINS SPECIAL PATROL ON MIX-LOADING, HAULAGE TRUCK VIOLATORS

The federal Road safety corp Zamfara Command has beguns a special patrol to apprehend Violators of mix loading of goods and human beings as well as Haulage trucks that violates traffic laws through high loading, failures to fix speed limiting devices, and carrying of Animals with human.

In a statement released by the command public Education officer SRC Aliyu isah, said  Sector commander CC Aliyu Ma'aji observe the reckless nature Haulage Trucks  pass through Zamfara most often with high loading or mix-Loading and on high speed.

Aliyu Ma'aji also emphasize that other traffic. Violatord would also not be spared.


Ma'aji called on motoring public to cooperate with his men in order to ensure a safer road environment in the state.

The Sector commander also emphasize that motorist that move without proper registration or cover their number plate would also be apprehended.

FMC Gusau re-affirms Commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital

By Ibrahim Ahmad The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Gusau on Tuesday , reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital for enhanced service delivery. The Medical Director of the FMC Gusau, Dr Bello Mohammed made the re-affirmation during the inauguration of a medical  “Common room” constructed by the centre’ s branch of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors (NARD). In a Press Statement signed by the centre’ s Public Relation Officer, Dr. Naziru Tukur and made available to newsmen, said modalities have been put in place to ensure the actualisation of the upgrade. “The Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) currently offers five accredited medical programmes, with students already in 200 level” “The centre’s management has intensified efforts in providing critical infrastructure for teaching and learning at the facility,” the statement read.
