FRSC Impound 146 Vehicles for Overloading, 22 Drivers for Bribe in Zamfara

Federal Road safety Corp has  impounds 146 vehicles for Overloading and 22 drivers for attempting to bribe FRSC Marshals in Zamfara State.

In a Press Statement by the Spokesperson of FRSC Isah Aliyu issued to the Journalists in Gusau the State Capital. 

According to the Statement,  Sector commander CC ALIYU Maaji disclose this during a media briefing  today as the command, intensified it's crackdown on overloading in the state.

The Statement narrated that sector commander discloses that the command has so far arrested  Ten overloaded vehicles this morning during its joint special patrol with men of the NSCDC.


“The command efforts  intensifies a special patrol operations with aims to apprehending violator's road traffic offender's involved Overloading, Reckless driving as well as dangerous driving” Statement said.

The statement added that, the sector command had observed a recurring trend of reckless behavior by same commercial drivers who often speed excessivebly and engage Overloading while passing through zamfara State.


Statement noted that, Sector commander CC ALIYU MA'AJI Urged motorist and General public to cooperate with FRSC Personal to promote a safe motoring environment across the state.

He further tells drivers that have vehicles without proper registration or with obscured number plates would be apprehending during this ember months special patrol operations.

CC ALIYU MA'AJI reiterated the corps commitments to enforcing traffic laws and ensuring public safety on all major roads in zamfara State.
