World Diabetes day : Fed. Lawmaker Zannah Donates 700 Bags of Weat to Diabetes Asaociation in Zamfara

Federal  Lawmaker Representing Bungudu Maru, Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu (Zannan Bungudu) has donated 700 bags of weat to the Diabetes Association in Zamfara State.

Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu made the donation at the 2025 World diabetes day held at Federal Medical Centre Gusau Hall.

Speaking at  the event Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu who was represented by his Chairman Medical Assistance,  Doctor  Auwal Muhammad Expressed happiness over the Program, also Commended the Association Members for their respect to adhere the advised given to them.

Hon. Abdulmalik assured to Continue assist the association when the need arose.

In his Speech  Doctor Zaharadeen  advised the people with diabetes to always visit the hospital for them to save their lives.

Doctor Zaharadeen warned the people with diabetes to stop using Traditional Medicine, 

In their Sprates Speeches Managing Director Yariman Bakura Specialists Hospital, Doctor Aminu Nahuce and  Former Managing Director Federal Medical Centre Gusau, Doctor Kabiru Muhammad, Commended the Association for organizing the program, called on them to keep it up, also assured to support and assists the association at all times.

In his Speech Chairman Diabetes association Doctor Sada thanked important Personalities that attended the Program, prayed Allah to returned them back to their resfectives destination selfly.

Doctor Sada narrated that, each 21 of every November is to mark the Diabetes day, and gather the Members and advise them on how to Monitor their bodies.

Sada Commended the Members of the Diabetes association for their turn out, called on them to adhere what they lean during Program.

FMC Gusau re-affirms Commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital

By Ibrahim Ahmad The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Gusau on Tuesday , reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital for enhanced service delivery. The Medical Director of the FMC Gusau, Dr Bello Mohammed made the re-affirmation during the inauguration of a medical  “Common room” constructed by the centre’ s branch of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors (NARD). In a Press Statement signed by the centre’ s Public Relation Officer, Dr. Naziru Tukur and made available to newsmen, said modalities have been put in place to ensure the actualisation of the upgrade. “The Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) currently offers five accredited medical programmes, with students already in 200 level” “The centre’s management has intensified efforts in providing critical infrastructure for teaching and learning at the facility,” the statement read.
