Zamfara Govt. settle debt of 436 Inmates amounting to N67million

The Wife of Zamfara Governor, Hajiya Huriyya Lawal has set free 436 inmates by settlement of their debt amounted to N67,204,700 of 436 to.

Huriyya Lawal made the disclosure at an event to wed 200 orphans held in Gusau the State capital.

She said the inmates were convict of debt crisis collected from the 54 Sharia Courts across the state.

“Zakkat and Endowment Board in collaboration with Sharia Court of Appeal had carefully reviewed all the affected persons for authenticity” Huriyya said.

Huriyya  urged the free inmates to use the opportunity in rebuilding their lives for batter and shunt any act would takeaway their freedom.

She charged 200 couples to embraced themselves with love, and live accordance with teaching of Islamic Sharia.

In his remarks the Chairman Zakkat and Endowment Board Mallam Umar Kanoma called on politician and other philanthropist to support the activities of the board.

He said the board is non political and was made to address the challenges of needs and vulnerable people within the state.

He commended the state for it unwavering support to the Zakkat board.

FMC Gusau re-affirms Commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital

By Ibrahim Ahmad The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Gusau on Tuesday , reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital for enhanced service delivery. The Medical Director of the FMC Gusau, Dr Bello Mohammed made the re-affirmation during the inauguration of a medical  “Common room” constructed by the centre’ s branch of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors (NARD).
