The Sector Commander Federal Road safety Corps Zamfara State Command, CC Aliyu Ma'aji Meet with NURTW, NARTO, NUPENG in Zamfara State

In a Press Statement Signed by the Spokesperson of FRSC Isah Aliyu issued to the Journalists in Gusau.

According to the Statement, the meeting was held at the FRSC hall, bye pass road in Gusau the State, 

Statement Said the Meeting was to  discussed  issues Concerning over-Loading,  Mix-Loading, and Over Speeding, 

Statement, further said, Sector Commander Aliyu Ma'aji, Express sadness over  the trend and seek for their cooperation and support, “it was also observed  that No overloading  is taking place at the motor parks due to stringent measures by The Union and The state government but rather The affected vehicles are loaded along the highway  with support of people seeking for cheap transport.

“The meeting  also agreed for a joint special patrol,  and also agreed that a major public  Education be conducted for drivers across the state”

“The  meeting was successfully  concluded as it received the full cooperation and support of tĥe targeted critical stakeholders”

“The NURTW, NARTO, NUPEN, appreciate with the Meeting assured to Support, and Cooperate the FRSC to the Success”

FMC Gusau re-affirms Commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital

By Ibrahim Ahmad The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Gusau on Tuesday , reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading to a teaching hospital for enhanced service delivery. The Medical Director of the FMC Gusau, Dr Bello Mohammed made the re-affirmation during the inauguration of a medical  “Common room” constructed by the centre’ s branch of the Nigeria Association of Resident Doctors (NARD). In a Press Statement signed by the centre’ s Public Relation Officer, Dr. Naziru Tukur and made available to newsmen, said modalities have been put in place to ensure the actualisation of the upgrade. “The Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) currently offers five accredited medical programmes, with students already in 200 level” “The centre’s management has intensified efforts in providing critical infrastructure for teaching and learning at the facility,” the statement read.
